Pages on Stackpick are published under Stackpick Editorial, not individual bylines. The site is run from a DevOps consulting background — enterprise tool selection, CI/CD pipeline design and software delivery work — which is where the questions behind these pages come from.

Being precise about what that means: we have used a portion of the tools listed here directly, and where that is the case the page reflects it. For the rest, entries are built from vendor documentation, published pricing pages, release notes and user reports, and we say so rather than implying hands-on testing we have not done. A catalogue of 309 tools cannot be one person's first-hand experience, and claiming otherwise would be the easiest thing on this site to disprove.

Every page carries the date it was last checked, and our methodology sets out the inclusion and evaluation criteria in full. If something is wrong, tell us — factual corrections are made promptly.
