Bits AI is Datadog's AIOps layer, announced at DASH 2025 and generally available since December 2025. It sits on top of Datadog's existing observability stack and adds autonomous investigation capabilities: when an alert fires, Bits AI triages it, correlates it with relevant metrics and logs, identifies the probable root cause, and suggests a fix — sometimes writing the remediation code directly.
